How far along? 38 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: No weight gain since last week! Still b/t 32-37 pounds (as of 7/31).

Sleep: Increasingly uncomfortable and choppy. It doesn't help that the cat thinks that anytime between 2-4 a.m. is a good time for eating and playing.
Best moment this week: My mom delivered the chiffarobe that she refinished and it looks great in the nursery.
Movement: She has been knocking on the door to get out.
Food cravings: None.
Gender: Still a girl!
Labor Signs: Almost 1 cm, 50% effaced, 0 station.
Belly Button in or out? Still looks like a Cheerio.
What I miss: A good night's sleep.
What I am looking forward to: Having an "outside baby".
Weekly Wisdom: Be aware of the signs of PPD and make sure you have a good support network in place.
Milestones: Organs are said to be fully developed! She's putting on fat and building brain smarts every day that she's still inside :)

36 Week Update
How far along? 36 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up 3 pounds from last week. I asked why and the midwife directed me to look at my feet. Apparently the weight gain is from fluid retention.
Stretch marks? I still haven't seen any, but that doesn't mean I won't get them.
Sleep: It seems like I'm up about every three hours.
Best moment this week: The changing table has been put together! GBS test was negative!
Movement: She hit my sciatic nerve a few times today. Wow, that hurt!
Food cravings: None really.
Gender: Still a girl!
Labor Signs: Braxton Hicks are increasing in frequency. Nothing timeable or consistent though.
Belly Button in or out? Popped. Very weird looking.
What I miss: Beer. Have I mentioned this before? My ankle bones.
What I am looking forward to: Getting the rest of the things we need, interviewing pediatricians, finishing packing my hospital bag.
Weekly Wisdom: Put up your feet when they look like snausages!
Milestones: Baby is shedding her "fur".

Maternity Photo Session
This past Sunday, my friend Jenhappy braved the muggy heat and gnats to meet DH and I at a local park for a maternity photo session. We had lots of fun and got some great shots!

How far along? 35 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I gained two pounds since the last appt. I'm up 33 pounds total-ish.

Stretch marks? I still haven't seen any, but that doesn't mean I won't get them.
Sleep: I've been waking up with a headache ... I think it has to do with twisting my neck in my sleep.
Best moment this week: TBD
Movement: She's gyrating toward the exit.
Food cravings: None really. DH bought some sunflower seeds the other day and I have been eating a lot of those.
Gender: Still a girl!

Eating in the Car FAIL
The other day I ate a granola bar in my car. Then I went to Destination Maternity. When I got back to my car I noticed a huge smear of chocolate in the seat. Yep, I had dropped it from the granola bar, even though I was careful, and sat in it. Then I went to Babies R Us and took off my shorts in the bathroom and washed them. They got soaked. So I had to run them under the jet dryer for about half an hour until they were dry enough to put back on so people wouldn't think that my water had broken.
