At DH's company holiday party:
At the bar - Me: "Can I have a water please?"
Bartender: "They are right behind you."
DH's friend J: "Going for the water right off the bat?"
Me: "Gotta stay hydrated."
At my parent's boat parade party:
Mom: "Look what I got just for you!" (Takes me to the cooler, opens it, and it's full of beer and mojitos)
Me: "Oh, I can't drink, I'm driving tonight."
Mom, later in the evening: "I can't believe you won't even taste a mojito."
Me: "Well, you really can't bottle a mojito."
